Active between 2008 and 2016, this was a drone, ambient duo comprising Leslie Low and Vivian Wang, original members of the band The Observatory.
The first clip is a concert excerpt from 2013 at IARC, an arts and resource venue frequented by Singapore’s music and artist underground. The second clip is one from the road, a live show at Disjecta, Portland USA.
ARCN TEMPL travelled to the West Coast for a mini tour in the summer of 2013. Leslie Low and Vivian Wang played three dates in Oakland CA, Portland OR and Vancouver BC. Daniel Menche recorded the set at Disjecta in Portland, constructed a remix using the live audio as the source material and shot photos of the duo. Glass Blood, released on Utech Records, packages the live recording, the remix and the tracks from the duo’s tour-only EP.
